Account Deletion

You can delete your account and everything in it at any time. This page explains how, what gets removed, and what to do if you cannot open the app.

Delete in the app

Open The Void, go to Settings → Delete account, and confirm. Your account is signed out and scheduled for permanent deletion. If you change your mind, signing back in within 30 days cancels the deletion; after 30 days it is permanent.

What gets deleted

• Your account and login credentials.
• All journal entries: text and voice recordings, their transcripts, and any AI-generated annotations.
• Everything is stored on Supabase and is permanently removed from our production database once the 30-day window ends.

Can’t access the app?

Email privacy@thevoid.you from the address associated with your account and ask us to delete it. We will confirm and complete the request within 30 days.

What’s retained, and for how long

During the 30-day grace window your data remains stored but your account is inaccessible. Once the window ends, your account and entries are permanently removed; residual copies in encrypted backups purge on our normal backup rotation within a further 30 days. Emailed requests follow the same schedule from the day we confirm them.
